One of my favorite photos from our recent San Juan Islands bicycle tour. Overcast with mixed sun created interesting light and the mountains in the distance created depth. Shot with a 5D Mark III and the EF 28-135mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS lens. I also used a Hoya PL-CR 72mm circular polarizing filter.
I really debated on bring the 28-135 or an EF 24-70 f/2.8 on this trip, but in the end I'm glad that I brought the lighter 28-135 for convience and a wider range of focal length. It is a lens that often impresses me for it cost, size and weight.
